Jon Stewart might be the comedian, but Congress is the joke.

This was fantastic. The next Super Bowl halftime show should just be Jon Stewart humiliating Congress for 30 minutes.

When a non-partisan issue, that is supported by more than 90% of the American public, can't be resolved in 18 years: the system is truly broken.

Jon Stewart is a perfect example of a person who has a voice using it for the betterment of others. Much respect for a good and decent man.

Government officials should be fired and replaced if they continuously fail to show up to their jobs as ANY other citizen would.
I agree with Jon Stewart here. He’s not 100% correct, he’s 1000% correct. 9/11 first responders are heroes and the nation owes them the world.

First responders: Extraordinary people who did what they did because they care about people MORE than their job. and Politicians: People who are afraid to do anything because they care more about their job than our people.

I think congress forgets too easily that a plane was headed for the Capitol on 9/11 and they were in session...

This man is a legend. I fucking love this guy! Always enjoyed watching him on the Daily Show. And not even for the crude juvenile jokes, but for his courage, integrity, clarity, and authenticity. I can just tell that he is a genuine, kind man who really cares.
Wish I could meet him someday and shake his hand. I'd vote for him if he ran for President - that's how highly I think of this guy. (And I don't throw words around.)

They should all have free healthcare for the rest of their lives.
This shouldn't even be a discussion.
